Last night we pulled out the first couple of boxes of Halloween decorations. We couldn't help it--we're kind of into Halloween at our house.
My one-year-old was into everything, headfirst in the boxes doing his best to destroy anything before we could put it on display.
Anna and I start getting a little excited for Halloween in August because we know fall, football, and the rest of the holidays are right around the corner. Labor Day is still a little early to start throwing skeletons and pumpkins around, so we still wait. By the time mid September arrives we break down.
We show *some* restraint. We don't put up all of our decorations yet. That happens in October. We just put enough out to scratch the itch.
